rooski! 4 months ago

i got another russian course book. it’s really helping. my mind is thinking in a different pattern and i think the words are sticking a little better.

it’s exciting. i’ve always wanted to speak at least one language fluently. i’m working so hard to make Russian one of them.

one down, three to go. 4 months ago

technically 8 to go. Heh.
we got rid of the smallest of them. which is still awesome. and the rush from just that… wow.

i’m a little more energized when looking at the rest.

run for five miles.
feeling better already... 7 months ago

the hubbie and i started running, (jogging at a slower pace than we walk. Hahah…) a week ago. i already feel better. my breathing isn’t as hard, and i’m really trying to focus on each aspect of my jogging experience. i.e. heart rate, any pains, breathing…

i have chest pains, (i’m pretty sure from stress) that i’m hoping to get rid of… get my heart more healthy. my cardio is pretty obnoxious, so here’s for doing something wonderful for my body.
and i really can’t help but be so happy that i’m doing something so healthy for me. for myself. to help myself. this is probably one of the best things i’ve done for myself in the past five years.

it’s wonderful. we have a path marked out and we measured it to be a mile and a half. today, when we went, we ran for a good third of it. i was so flabbergasted that i didn’t die! only a week into it and i can run that long without crashing and burning!

i think five miles is a healthy goal to reach for.
i seriously encourage everyone to do this.
