How I did it: First, we tidied our bedroom. We moved everything from the spare room into the bedroom. This gave us both a sense of achievement at having made a tangible start, and motivation to get on with it, so that we could comfortably use the bedroom again.We sorted things into three piles: keeping, throwing-away, and Freecycling/taking to the charity shop. How I did it: I took an A4 ring binder and put dividers and clear plastic sleeve pages into it. I wrote out the recipes I already knew we liked, printed them and put them in the sleeves. Whenever I try a new recipe, I print it out and put it in the folder. If we like it, it stays. :o)I also cut/tore out recipes from magazines, and found an excellent cups-lbs-grams conversion table in an issue of Waitrose Food Illustrated which I glued to the inside cov… Read how I did it…

I’m now three months into a course with the Open University. I’m studying AA100 The Arts Past and Present, the first module towards an honours degree in English Language and Literature. I’m officially an undergraduate student, and I LOVE it. :D
