I moved to NOLA last year before I could start this. While there I started a smaller version and made a fair amount of progress. Then I moved rather suddenly when hurricane Ike came through and had to leave it behind. I’ve started a new one though and am quite excited to see how it turns out.

Almost there

After moving out of town and then moving back again, I did manage to pay off enough to be able to check stuff out again. So at least there’s that. $8 left to pay.
32 week deadline!!!
I just did the math, if I want to have $5,000 for the trip(including ticket), I need to save $153/week for the next 32 weeks. That’s rather more than I though it would be. It’s not beyond the realm of possibilities, but damn, everything would have to work out so smoothly. And because of my current debt, I’m gonna have to “pay myself first” and let the debt ride. I don’t know, I have to do some serious thinking about this one. More later.
