Got a good deal (1000 after rebates) and it has totally reignited my passion for photography! With the cheaper D-50 and new D70S available, we should see the D70 drop in a price a little bit. Worth doing all the way!
Pretty simple, though a little pricey. Make sure you get it a few months ahead, mine took a little longer than the people I went with (About 2 months)
I finally did it. My little Vaio died the death it had been begging for and I spent my inheritance savings on a Powerbook. The transition was a little rocky at first, but I couldn’t imagine going back. There are few things I would recommend with so few reservations.
