if you love ancient egypt, i would strongly recommend that you learn egyptian hieroglyphs. it is almost crucial that you know at least simple signs so you can pronounce the names inside cartouches. if you work at it everyday, you’ll get it!
I am going to college, and i took ancient (koine) greek in my second year, and it was brilliant to learn the ancient language, and reading the original language of the new testament.
