I'm doing 7 things
My wife and i went ti Israel in 2005. We flew into Ben Gurion and stayed for the week in Jerusalem. It was fantastic. I could not write enough about it! The Dead Sea was spectacular, set in the low mountains bordering Jordan. We had spen the morning hiking in the Engedi Desert, and i unfortunately had scraped my shin climbing into a cave. This wasnt a big deal until I went into the Dead Sea.It stung bad! It’s true, though. You CANNOT sink! We spent a good deal of time in the Old City, saw the Garden of Gesthsemene, Calvary, the actual spot where Jesus’ cross was. It was a grewat trip, and very significant for my wife who is Jewish by blood, and has Israeli family. I wound up going back the next year on a medical volunteer trip. I was mainly in Haifa then, in the mountains overlooking the Sea. it was so beautiful! Israel is a great land, full of wonderful people! Everyone needs to go!
