Although religion has help us to have morality and respect one and other, i does seem to be the cause of many problems these days.
Africa: Catholic Vatigan says condoms are bad, result: HIV epidemic! Also loss of many native languages and customs as a direct coinseqence of missonaries!
US: Its becoming a backward fundimentalist society hell bent on get all world oil, and ignores the consequences! Shame, was such a cool place once!
Works of scientists in the 16/17th centuries: Advanced medical texts and technologies lost because the vatigan saw it as herecey.
Terrorists: Wrongfull interpritation of a boks which preach understanding and forgiveness has lead to bombs going of in london and the US terrorising smaller nations! these new terrorists are not islamic! nowhere in the qu’ran does it say ‘blow-up thy neighbour’... and yet people are quick to tag there actions to religion, so as there is some one they can, in tern, terrorise to make themselves feel big and clever!
