I have met her…and called her a few times. Managing to stay moderately civil but that’s enough. But the neighbors whom I’ve wanted to meet are now friends and just fabulous. I’ve run over to stay with their daughters on short notice. Their girls made my five year old feel welcome on the bus on her first day of kindergarten. They are a lovely, lovely family and I feel blessed to call them friends.

How I did it: Had houseguests who looked terrific and swore by the "Younger Next Year" book, which features real exercise six days a week. And it turned out to be an easy thing to build my mornings around--and I'm feeling firmer and generally quite motivated. Plus my daughter loves going to the free childcare part on weekends. Filled my old IPod with 3 movies, a few TV shows and some audio books for my five year old. She loved it, and we now have it available for long trips.
and the box of beach towels which was clearly housing the mouse has been cleaned out. (And the towels obviously washed and sorted.) Will put a trap in, in case the mouse isn’t the one which met a watery death in our toilet earlier this winter. But at least I can stop avoiding the bathroom closet.
