I have been reading a great book, I went with my daughter last week to White Plains N.Y. it is a vibrant city. It hosts some of the ritzest buildings in this area. Trump and Cappelli built the Ritz Carlton, they are bustling buildings that reach up towards the skyline, and are amazing with all glass windows, on all sides. It truly is beautiful, there are a number of malls in the area as well. One of the malls is,The Westchester, another is The Galleria, another is The White Plains Mall, and then there is the new White Plains Mall that is located conveniently on Main Street. It is very nice, there is a Barnes and Noble located in there, it is huge. I wasn’t finding anything great, but what I did find is this book. I loved the book immediately, which is hard to believe. Usually, I tend to pick up a book and read a couple of sentences, and not really enjoy the words, the meanings, or simply where the book is going.
I have pretty good information for reading, and am usually hard to please. But Rick Warren’s book, in my eyes was like finding gold. It is hard in this day and age to imagine what in the world are we doing to ourselves, but we are hurting on the moral front, we are hurting on the business front, and we are leaping with out looking. Our young people are not only lost, but are dealing with too many messages that are not too good.
Being young is a great time in life, trust me you will not look back someday and think, I wish I’d been born older. It just isn’t so, but rest assure to burn those years off too quickly is a sin. Learn to space out the times you truly want to do something, versus the times you are practically dragged out to. Remind yourself as well, that certain friends do not have your best interest at heart, which will be about 95%. Don’t be surprised by this, it’s just that at that period of time, young people are matching up and want to associate strictly with the kids who are there ages. Which makes perfect sense, but when friends may not have your best interest at heart, stay behind for a minute, and ask your self, it’s worth it.
Drinking, drug use, hurting yourself, or someone for fun, these are things that are questionable, and will cast a shadow on your reputation.
Is your reputation worth it? No, and keep track of your own thoughts and feelings. Are you confused about stuff? Are there step-parent’s, brothers and sisters?Half-brothers and sisters? It happens, and yes can be painful and confusing. No one said feelings are written in stone, what may have seemed like the ideal family of the 70’s for The Brady Bunch, today can seem like a sugar coated farce.
That is a different topic, but in todays times, instead of sugar coating things, it is mroe like slime coating things. There is usually a negative message, and other rhetoric about being real, being nice is not cool, but having attitude rules. It also borders on being rude, there is a very fine line, between being rude and having a healthy attitude.

How I did it: I read a great deal, I stay afloat of current trends in attitudes regarding women and mens issues. Being I am an emotional person, I try hard to not let myself be guided completely by my emotion. But more so by facts, I try to analyze many differnet responses and watch some reality t.v. It seems to reinforce the concept of not always being sure of how things come to be, but they do. People have dreams and desires, and they can be re… Read how I did it…
Who ever said life was easy, certainly not the Greeks, as a matter of fact even though one of their attempts is to clarify some of the more demystifying events of life, like life itself, complications, decisions, dilemma, intentions, Gods, demi-gods, strange occurrences, they also add much confusion to the score. It is complicated enough to think that a man by the name of Prometheus made fire and made life more enjoyable, then you are supposed to tie it together to neo-pathian time period meaning that man learned to create fire not a small feat. Or take for example the Hades, the god of the underworld, that is not a great job, but some bodys got to do it, the gate keeper so to speak. Then there is Hecate, pronounced He-ca-ty, Athena, Apolo, Then there are other areas like Homers The Illiad, and other peculiar and strange gods, such as Zeus. He is like God almighty even though he gets himself into some real pickles,he is able to transform himself into even a fly on the wall when he needs to get the right information, hence expressions like a “fly on the wall” got started. Greeks are a fascinating culture but the mythologys gave explanation to some very early beginnings which gives rise to another complete area how did we arrive on earth? Are we born to conflict with one another? How do we know there is a god or gods? Well, according to the Greeks Demeter which is if correct analogy is applied with out sounding (corny)she is Mother Earth. It was believed that when crops would not come, or there were dry spells it meant that she was upset regarding some unforeseen event. There are many particulars that involve anything from muses, Pan, Aphrodite, centaurs, and other strange beings that do strange things. I wish you a lot of luck trying to separate myth and legend and yes of course mixed with reality,I think that is what they call life.
Even though it can be costly it is very relaxing and rewarding. There are many things that transpire my mind when I plant things, I love the colors. Color is a big turn on for me, I also want to know a little about the plant. Does it need a lot of sun or a little sun? Is it going to take over a area or will it stay confined, (some plants do spread). I like petunias with stripes on them, usually they are pink and white, or purple and white. They are very appropriate when doing things designed for American Holidays, namely 4th of July and just pretty to look at. I also enjoy tulips, but that takes a bit more thought, you have to put bulbs in about the last week of October. They hibernate all winter, and then start to make their appearances around Easter or earlier depending what they are. There are different types of bulbs, but tulips are view to behold. Their colors are so vibrant, they brighten up where ever they are planted. Whether they are gorgeous yellows, or reds, pinks, violet, they are fantastic.
There are also early pansys, that are usually available another early bloomer is Lily of The Valley. They are in the same family as The Easter Lily, which is fragrant and beautiful. These are all early flowers, as Mothers Day comes around, many other flowers start to take the stage so to speak. Your geraniums, and hibiscuses, and hydrendga,as well as many other plants that start to add variety into your garden. There are Inpatients, and snap dragons that are easy to incorporate into a pot and add soil then sit back and enjoy the beautiful show nature is putting on for you, and those that enjoy this great gardening past time.
