How I did it: First step was retiring my old baggy jeans. The habit of living in baggy jeans and not planning what to wear sure died hard. It took a long time to part with them (only wearing them for Download and Sonisphere - tatty clothes for music festivals).Now I tend to wear normal fitting black jeans, skirts or dresses! "Whoah! How to restore Daddy's old (repro) English Civil War pike head!
It took me

How I did it: Wipe off excess bright orange rust with a rag and WD40 Scrub away with a nylon brush and WD40 Realise it isn't working and resort to a brillo pad (soap filled metal scourer) Wash off soap and rust scum Dry pike head Give a thorough coating of WD40 to prevent dreaded rust coming back. How to eat less sugar

How I did it: I cut down to only one sugar in a coffee (and cut back on the coffee too) and limited myself to one chocolate bar in my lunch each day maximum. It was surprisingly easy, especially once all the Easter eggs were out of my way LOL! Read how I did it…

= 12.5 units

Other days:
2x Armada Ale = 4.5units?
1x German Jager stuff + coke = 1unit
= 5.5units

TOTAL = 18units

I hoovered the ground floor… It’s stupidly easy without all the dog hair now. I miss my Lucy :(

Ooh, surprising! 3 weeks ago

The walk to D&D this week was surprisingly easy! It’s at least 20-30mins from Bengeo to Ware with lots of hilly bits but we did it much quicker (even in snow and ice) and without having to stop to catch our breath this week! The gym must be doing more for us than we realised… Also I’ve noticed my quads (thigh muscles) seem a lot more toned :D YAY!
