Sadly, due to unforseeable circumstances, I won’t be able to go to NYFA for a long while. It costs 1500 USD for tuition only, and that’s for one week. I also have to keep in mind food (I always wanted to try a New York hotdog), housing (Cheapest hotel is 80 USD a night), bus fare (be kinda pointless to take my car up there, wouldn’t it? No where to park) and some souviners and gifts that I might want to pick up. I also would have to get there a couple of days before I start my week there to get use to the city.
I was hoping to go there in January, but I may not be allowed to go. Given that, I’m just going to focus my funds on Christmas presents instead of splitting it 50/50. Half for NYFA and half for the presents.
It kinda sucks, but I’ll live. I just have to take the curve balls life throws at my in stride.
I hope my strides are long enough ;)

I signed up a while ago for Nanowrimo, but it’s only recently that I’ve found something I could write that requires very little research.
I really wanted to write this story about a knight in medieval Armenia. But there’s so few sites that really elaborate that time in Armenia. I did find a site from a British University. This professor there was kind enough to post books detailing some aspects of this subject. I’m not entirely sure, but I think some of them are in German and French, so I’ll have to get German/French-English dictionaries and tap into my patience pool.
I’m really dead set on doing this story, about the knight, but I’m very much a perfectionist and I want to get everything right along with writing it to my liking.
So, now I’m going to write about a man who finds adventure on a street that doesn’t exsist on the map. Sounds boring, I know, but it has some craziness in it that I don’t want to give out just yet. (For fear of jinxing myself :D).
I got a little research on this, but not an overwhelming amount, considering it’s mostly dealing with my imagination and things I’m already into.
Stick with what you know, that’s what all authors say and I’m gonna follow that for this year. Next year, with any luck, I’ll have all the info I need and want for the knight story and be able to write that then… or sooner.
Hopefully sooner.
Anyway, I can NOT wait until Nov. 1st! I hope that I’ll be able to get together with the other crazys just before the 1st to just sit down and talk and revel in our insanity.

Now, I know whoever’s reading this is going “DOH! A TEEN! AHHHHH!)
No, I’m not a teen anymore.
Sadly, I’m one of the many who just quit school. Hopefully, I’m one of many whose been fortunate enough to gather enough intelligence to realize the severe stupidity of this act fairly early.
I’m currently the big 2-o… Grrr… I turned that accursed age this month on the seventh… Grrr…
I don’t feel twenty, not like how other people my age seem to be at least.
Off subject, now back on! I hope to finish high school soon because I now know what I want to do with my life… sorta. See, I guess that’s why I just quit, I didn’t know what I wanted for myself and what I wanted to do really that made me want to finish my schooling. Then my nephew came into the picture and just lightened up my life in so many ways once we became real buddy-buddy (after he was two I think.
Well, he’s now three and the sense of wanting to make my life better and take better care of myself is nearly overwhelming. I just want to get all this stuff out of the way so I can spend more time with him without feeling like a gigantic loser who doesn’t know jack about jack.
Ah… the affects children have on people. Amazing.
