So, if it’s a finite resource, then, I want to slowly set up habits and routines so that all the normal things I have to do, happen effortlessly – and therefore, I have the reserves of willpower available when I need them.
First habit: Go to bed on time, and wake up no later than 7.30am.
So, I need to plan out what I’m doing in the evenings, so that going to bed earlier is easy.

Did this when we were kids, with kerosene.
Lots of fun, but at least a couple of the people I knew who were doing it a lot just seemed wasted all the time.
We were (usually) rinsing our mouths out afterwards, and sometimes drinking milk beforehand to give a better lining to the mouth etc, but in the end, it’s not good for you, toxic shit, blah blah blah.
Oh well.
