Just finished three months of travel in which my only adherence to even a balanced diet was fasting…It’s been sometime, but I don’t feel hopeless or left behind. I’m nearly done moving and then will reassess.
On another note, lack of money makes being healthy very hard, even in so called world power countries. Ridiculous – it was cheaper to buy bread and cheese than fruits or veg.
here we go. I’ll be off on Thu on my Journey East. Off to Amsterdam to walk my way. I have to say that it’s finally dawned on me that this is happening; I’m a wee bit scared. But it’s exciting as well and I figure no real adventures leaves you without that semi-nauseous heady feeling. ::leap::
Well I am now on DAY 7 of the Master Cleanser. It’s been a bit more of a trial than the first time around. However, the clarity is there again and I’m not just talking about my skin! And the energy levels are always surprising; I mowed the backyard for a good hour and a half and didn’t realise it until my brother apprised me of the fact.
One piece of advice, never EVER go to Atlantic City when you are fasting – that place is the antithesis of ascetism in any form. But it did give me a great boost to come out of those two days with my detoxing unscathed.
