There’s a certain sort of beauty in the abandoned and the forgotten, doubly so when it comes to buildings. What was once a house, a workplace, a bustling factory, now lying empty and forgotten, gathering dust and vermin, a testament to the indomitable will of entropy.
I really need to take more photos, both inside and out, of these forgotten shells of the past.

The world is full of doorways.
Lost, abandoned, forgotten, sealed by the long passage of time. We walk past these doorways every day of our lives, never giving a second thought as to where they might lead.
The true beauty of a city lies inside and beneath, the lost and forgotten places upon which it was built, and not the airbrush-perfect facade that we are encouraged to see.
One of these days, I want to walk through one of those doors, and see where it takes me.
