I finally took the time to sit down and take the online class and test and it took less than an hour. It was more of a refresher really, I’ve never formally had a license before but my mother has been an EMT most of my life so she made sure that I’ve known basic CPR since childhood.

How I did it: I found a dr run weight loss clinic and they put me on Adapax and Topamax and B12 shots every 2 weeks. They also had me on a no carb diet for one month. IT SUCKED. The goal of that month was to normalize my blood sugar levels and it worked. After that I started an organic diet focused on clean fresh foods and portion control. No calorie counting, no weighing food. I think I've been able to stick with it because it doesn't have me thinking … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I moved to a new city a few years ago and just kind of kept to myself for entirely too long. After having my daughter I realized I needed more people to talk to than just my husband. I found a knitting group online and joined it. I was nervous at first but really glad to meet new people. After being a member of the group for a year now I really feel like I have made some great new friends. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I started knitting all my xmas gifts back in febuary and am done with all of them (I think). I also have made every single birthday present this year. It's nice to be able to do something creative as well as give gifts that were created solely for a specific person not just giving them something mass-produced. Read how I did it…

The constant torrential rains we’ve had in the afternoons have killed all of the lavender I planted, again. I’m beginning to think this is hopeless.
So we went on a 2 week vacation… and apparently so did the typical afternoon rains our area usually receives. The day we came back it poured buckets well into the night though.
I spent so much time working on the soil pruning the tree over the bed and bought 4 different types of lavender to try and it’s going to be the fact that I went on vacation that makes it go to pot this year. grrrrrr.
It seems like there is yet life in a few of the plants and I have not given up hope. Maybe next spring it will be seeds….
