I’m not sticking to any sort of schedule or running program. Call me hard-headed, but they just don’t work for me. Right now my strategy is to run everyday. And by this I mean lope along at a pace that is just barely faster than walking until I can’t anymore. I figure I’m doing 1/4 mile now before I have to start walking. Everyday I will push myself to go just a little farther until I reach the one mile mark. We’ll worry about speed later…

I’ve decided that I definitely want to do this, and I planning to do it in about a year. My friends and family are gonna flip out, but I don’t care; it’s my hair. A collection of dead skin cells on top of our heads shouldn’t be the end all and be all. Over the next year I’m gonna try to fund raise a little for cancer research and grow my hair out so I can donate it when the time comes.

I’ve started getting into the habit of walking and jogging. I have major plans this summer to exercise more, increase my endurance, and slim down so I can start looking and feeling better. Yay me!
