I’ve noticed an increased ability to live more in the moment. And I’ve gotten more work done. As I began reading the book, I thought Allen’s system seemed a bit complex, but it really has helped.

because I’m done inputting my sports cards into Beckett.com. I don’t think the average person would have had the patience to log in 32,645 cards into a Web site, especially the ones they knew were worth nickels. About half of my collection consists of baseball cards, which I no longer have an interest in. The goal is to dump those for a few rent checks or basketball/football cards.
I didn’t really remember where a lot of my bookmarks went to, so I had to do a lot of click click clicking.
I guess the best strategy for this is to think about the types of things you do most often online and create individual folders for those categories. For me, that was reading news, watching video clips, paying bills and researching work-related stuff.
Organizing my bookmarks also got me thinking about linking directly to my most frequently visited secondary Web pages, such as the message boards for my favorite TV shows. I’m sure this will save me so much time in the long run.
