How I did it: Walked on the streets of Mumbai (just outside CafĂ© Leopold in Colaba), and a guy just came up and asked us if we wanted to be extras in a Bollywoodmovie... We asked what kind of movie - Bollywood makes a LOT of movies, and not all of them are very good... An action-comedy, he said, and added - With Akshay Kumar! With stars in our eyes and grins on our faces we agreed, and so we became extras in Singh is Kinng, blockbuster of summer 2008 a… Read how I did it…
So… I did my first exam ever in the university today…in HINDI! it was quite hard!!!!!!
I really like learning hindi, and it is very satisfying to learn to read and write and talk :D but the grammar…oooh…the grammar is hard!!!! So hope anyone can tell me – how did you manage to learn hindi grammar? :)
I learned how to scuba dive in Nha Trang, Vietnam – and it was incredible. Everything about it was so addictive! It is absolutely worth the money, and it is absolutely worth doing it with a professional dive shop (sailing club, octopus divers in Nha Trang :) )
Word of warning though; my blood levels wasn’t really top notch after several months of backpacking, and even though I called my doctor back home to be sure I could dive, I started having chest pains and stuff afterwards. I was lucky, I’m okay and it was still worth it, but it sucked spending almost 1000 us$ on hospitals in Vietnam….
But I would do it all over again!
