I choose this goal specifically because its really hard for me. To be alone means that no one wants to be with you. For so long that’s really how I felt so when I was alone it was hard just to be with me—I wasn’t much fun without company. But I’m trying to spend more time just thinking, reflecting, and enjoying the world around me without actually being part of it-voyerism at its best, I guess. Last Sat. I almost went to a movie alone (would be a first) but a friend came along at the last minute. London is going to def. give me a chance to explore this part of me, and I’m looking forward to really figuring out…well..me.

I’m trying my best not to listen to my sweet tooth or my cravings that tend to kick in the minute that I feel sad about something and just want to curl in bed with a good book and some chocolate. I guess it doesn’t help that its that time of the month, which means my weight and hormones are all over the place. But generally the more that I’m around friends the less I focus on eating and the more I pay attention to when I’m realy hungry. It also helps when my friends are super duper thin..grr
Its a bit harder here to exercise than it is at home or at school simply because the weather sucks in terms of running, and classes are mucho expensive (I’d rather buy things..sigh) But my pilates video and basic crunches, squats, etc are keeping me feeling the burn for now, and I’m going to start enrolling in some classes coming up after exams and spring break. So far so good.
