I started doing this as a goal a 20 some odd of years ago. Since then I have made a point to go out of my way to visit UNESCO sites on the list when ever I travel. The attempt to do this has lead to some very intereting travel experiances. The journey has been better than the destination. It has raised my cultural awarness. I have found that even exploring the places that I had no interest in has opened a lot of doors. This is a great goal for people interested in the cultural aspect of the world. If others are interested in doing this I hope they find out that it isn’t about just touching the bases so you can brag about the number of places they have been too. A good adventure budget travelor will tell you Its more about what you find along the way. The list has expanded. The good news is that it’s a long list and even if you have traveled long hard and far it’s difficult to get them all. This leaves room for many future addventures.
