How I did it: I moved to Syracuse and happened to meet my soulmate working at the same TV station :)********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************… Read how I did it…
Yes, I ate a spoonful of cottage cheese. It’s not so much a fear anymore as it is just pure hatred of the lumpy stuff. Please don’t eat it in front of me. I’ll vom.
It was definitely one of the more physically challenging things I have ever accomplished. The winds were against us which didn’t make the weekend too much fun and after about 25 miles, I secretly wished I’d never started this crazy thing. Then at about 40, I realized just how exciting this experience was going to be. My dad and I finished at the top of the pack too! It was hard, but I am going for it again next year (and actually training!)
