How I did it: I received A's in both English 1101 and English 1102 and they sent me a postcard asking if I wanted to work in the writing center. I didn't know if that would be good for me at first since I nearly despise writing, but I love my job and the people I work with. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I found a recipe online, my new york friend helped me with her previous gingerbread constructing experience. I think that the gingerbread was not too good for eating because it was almost burnt. But i think that if I had left it in a little less time that it would have been hard enough to build a house and still delicious and crispy for eating. I used eggwhites and sugar to glue the sides together. Again, not too tasty, I might try someth… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I have a recipe that I personalized, that make sort of cakey and soft ginger breads for people who aren't big fans of the traditional gingerbread (most of my family) and I also have a good recipe for hard gingerbread that makes good gingerbread houses. I made a very elaborate house this year. :O) Read how I did it…

I made my first batch of gingerbread cookies the other day and I was very very proud of myself. They came out really good. I didn’t have enough molasses, so I used about half molasses and half honey, and they turned out really good. Most of my family liked them more than usual gingerbread cookies. I didn’t decorate them though. That is going to be my next step. :O)
I drove a stickshift car for the first time a few weeks ago. When I would ask them when to shift gears, all they kept telling me was “you have to feel for it.” I have no idea what that is supposed to mean, and it would drive me crazy. The second day after about 30 minutes I felt like I kind of knew what they were talking about, and I could shift from 1st to second almost every time. I never went fast enough to shift into 3rd or 4th though. Too much traffic. I don’t know when I’m going to practice again.
