I’ve realized that I am a good mom. As I talk to my mom, she shares what she felt were her shortcomings, and while at the time they may have been, they were lessons for me for now, as an adult, as a mom, and to realize that my mom was human and not perfect, tho perfect enough for me. My children are happy, provided for (dang near spoiled), and as long as they know they are loved, I am a good mom. =)

DIY.com has some good tips as well…it’s where I worked out my kinks. If you buy a guide, make sure it shows you how to cast on & bind off…I drove myself crazy the first two days trying to figure it out myself!
I looove my hair long…it’s just below the belt line now. I have it trimmed by my mom (b/c she hates to cut it & I know she’ll take even less than I ask her to). At this length, it doesn’t get in the way b/c it’s long enough to stay behind me without falling forward. The shoulder length time killed me…I HATED IT…and almost went short again (the ONLY time I’ve had short hair, I told the girl layered bangs and she snipped the middle back of my hair right at the nape of my neck…I think she was jealous b/c her hair really sucked…it was fried blonde ramen noodles pretty much). If you want it long, atleast give yourself until it’s mid-back. Now if I can only get my fiance’ to play with it…
