fit in my skinny jeans
Hmm...rethinking how I think about goals. 23 months ago

I’ve decided to focus on the daily goals that will get me to fit into smaller jeans (ie exercising and eating better) rather than the end result itself. Why? Because when I focus on those daily goals, I feel better almost immediately and I’m reinforcing those good habits. Whereas, when I focus on fitting into the smaller jeans, I’m just focusing on the result of my smaller daily goals. I’d rather be more in the moment. And if smaller jeans happen (which they probably will eventually with healthy habits) that’s great, but I’m not really focusing on that as a goal anymore. But, anyway, to each their own.
