Switzerland was breathtaking! I only visited Zurich and the surrounding area, but I fell in love with the country. Zurich is a fairly small city, but has world class culture; the zoo and art museum (Kunsthaus) are amazing. While Zurich is a major business center, it was not nearly as crowded or hectic as many of the other European cities I visited.

Word of the day

I signed up for dictionary.com’s word of the day e-mail. I recognize about half of the words and am close on their meanings. Maybe my vocabulary wasn’t as bad as I thought. I still need to work to incorporate new words into speech and writing, rather than just learning them.
