ago I made the purchase and I haven’t looked back. The desktop sits alone upstairs and is hardly ever used anymore. I do not regret waiting this long as they were just too expensive for so long but they are a reasonable price now. Even bought one for my hubby for father’s day. GO for it !!

I have this as my own personal mantra of sorts
Choose to be kind, always – in all things. Not an easy one to achieve but achievable none the less.

I had heard about microloans but had not really pursued the idea. When I saw it listed as someones goal on 43 Things it prompted me to look further. I am now the proud loaner to 4 woman across the world. I would encourage others with the money to spare to consider doing the same. Check out their site at:

Read about Kiva first here at 43 things and was inspired to check out the site. I am now a proud lender to 4 deserving people across the world. Such a small thing to do yet makes such a big difference. Try it – it feels good!!!

We used to do this about once every couple of months when I was at university 25 years ago. Everyone would dress up as their favorite character, take toast to throw at the stage, bring water, and newspaper, etc. – lots of fun. An opportunity to blow off some stress just being silly. Yeh for the inner child!!!!

Wasn’t able to get the book or the video but was able to find a book CD. Have listened to it 2x and am quite taken with the ideas. The main idea is the “law of attraction” – you need to think what you want in a positive way and it will come to you.
!!!!Simple enough concept and what do you have to lose by trying!!!

I would pay to have someone plant a garden in a vacant lot and donate the produce to the foodbank – good for the person you are paying (employment) – good for the environment – good for the community and finally good for the foodbank.

...in a country that really needs clean drinking water
update – 08/05/06 – friend’s son is in Africa and is working on this – will cost $11,000 CD – I think we can do it without the million!!!
update – 12/05/07 – our community of about 1000 people was able to raise enough money to build 3 wells. There also was a shipping container going over recently and over 3 truck loads of medical supplies, computers etc. went from this small town. !!!What people can do went they join forces!!!!

RECYCLING – I always feel good when I recycle – if everyone did their part what a huge difference it would make in our world. It would take us all one step closer to heaven.
We have the BEST recycling program in this little, little town. All you have to do is get it into a clear garbage bag and get it to the curb on Monday. They do all the sorting and they pick it up for free. What more could you ask for and why would you not recycle.

Decent story – still not sure why all the hype – need to get the edition that has all the pics and explanations to see what I missed.

Interesting story but still not sure what all the hype was about. No better no worse than any of the other excellent mystery writers out there.
Am I missing something?

Made on, printed it – nothing else -
I just can’t seem to get into it. It feels like it would take longer to make the list than to do some of the items.
Any suggestions?

I like the opportunity for the kids to dress up and have fun – had a little guy and his dad – the dad is a single parent and made this little fella the BEST costume – a big Sponge Bob Square Pants – all hand made and it was terrific!!!
Had lots of kids, old and young – no pranks just everyone having some fun.
