got up at 6:45 and went for a run in the cold. it was actually really nice, everything all frosty and sparkling.
didn’t go for very long, had to get back for work, so only went about 1.5 miles, but it’s better than nothing.

How I did it: Again, I just went on the UK website www.organdonation.nhs.uk to register. You fill in a form of interest, and then they match your details with NHS files. Soon I'll be getting a letter and card in the post, stating that i'm a donor. Quick, easy, why doesn't everyone do it?Also, am suddenly struck by the desire to look after my organs better. How I did it: I simply went on their website www.amnesty.org.uk. Being under 18, I was entitled to a youth membership, which is £5 a year direct debit, and every two months I will receive a magazine from Amnesty which will keep me informed about situations around the world. You can also join by post, but joining online is ridiculously fast and easy. Also, they have thrown in a free t-shirt. That's nice of them. Read how I did it…
i saw this amazing material, and i thought that i’d make a little apron out of it, like those ones that waitresses have. i’ll have to find some lace to trim it with, but i reckon it’ll be really cute.
however, i will have to hand sew it, as i don’t have a sewing machine, and every time i have been faced with a sewing machine, something un-nerving involving something snapping or making a bad noise has happened. might be a bit time consuming but hopefully fun. i’ll stick a picture up when i’m done.
last saturday i went to a boys’ night thing (i was the token girl for the night), and it all ended in us gathered in a shed, passing around guitars and generally having a good ole time. it was really great but i only realised how good a player my friend sam is when he started playing. it’s crazy!
anyway, they were all competent to a certain degree, and luckily i had one song i could just about eek haltingly out, but they’ve invited me back again, and damn it, i need to compete! so i’ve spent the past hour or so fiddling around with chords and trying to play songs, and surprisingly it’s going quite well. just need to keep it up now.
