Burton had a contest that awarded the winner a montly stipend to travel and document all their snowbaording travels around the world (?) for the entire season(s). CRAZY. I want to do this sooo badly. I almost moved to Colorado to work in ahotel for $7/hr to be able to ride all season. Needless to say, I didn’t do it, but it’s on my life menu.

It’s in the works. It’s a memoir of sorts. I think ths is not an easy goal to just whip out and accomplish, naturally, but everyday little by little I feel a sense of purpose to what I jot down on paper. I’m going to a lecture tonight in celebration of Juan Rulfo. Buuuuut, I still want to go back to more Fuse lectures tonight. We shall see. Either way, I’m still writing and everyday there has been a great story to tell. Wild Style.
It’s official! I have just hung my frist piece of work in a gallery space at the Smirnoff Movemnents Studio gallery space at the Paul Robeson Theatre. It was on a whim becuase there was a space available, but I have received some positive feedback from major people in the industry. Not a bad start… : ) Thanks to Alpine, I have taken the first step toward pursuing my art in NYC. So far all I have had time to focus on were the fundamnetal building blocks to suporting one’s self in a new city like a Jobby Job (check). Next was yoga. After months of studio researching (if anyone needs info on all the studios I can be a good resource) and saving money to afford classes, I have now settled in at a great studio that I began a work exchange with and now I’m a memeber at Greenhouse Holistic. It’s terrific and without that discipline I would not be able to feel more grounded, clear headed, and ready to focus on the next step- pursuing my art.
Thank you ALPINE for the heads up. You will never know what a special feeling that was for me. Fuse Greene liked my shit a lot! HYPE. You are the best stranger I have ever known and yes, I was a name nazi with him and his partner too. haha.
