The salty sea below, the beam of guiding light above, the solitude, all this brings a sense of longing and adventure. I’m a hopeless romantic, but why wouldn’t I want to be, lol. Sigh…
As young as I can remember I’ve been a star gazer. I don’t know the names or coordinates of constellations, I am no great astrological thinker. I simply find that being alone with a night sky full of stars puts me in a frame of mind and awe I get no other way. The mystery, the beauty, the intelligence of the universe bring me to a deeply inward place of wonder and delight. God’s presence fills my thoughts and emotions. I can’t grasp it, it is all so magnificent and to think I am a part of this creation brings still more questions and amazement. I use to wonder why i didn’t know any one else that lay under the night sky all alone, but I’m sure they are out there. My heart aches as I long to be drawn to my Maker and understand my purpose. I wait on the awesome Creator of this majestic sparkling galaxy for the revealing of truth, why am I here?
