finally found a compost bin and bought it and brought it home. Now I’ve just got to fill it. I live where composting is a bit of a foreign concept, and besides why do I need a bin? Everyone here just digs a hole. I kept having to argue that bins are better because they are faster and don’t attract rodents. But finally I succeeded in buying a nice bin with lots of room to make earth in. Yeah me!

I just learned of a place where I may be able to buy a bin. I’ve been wanting a bin to keep animals away from the compost so this has been stopping me.
This was on a list of goals that I wrote with a group of friends back when I graduated from college. And years later, reading over the list, I was tempted to ignore this goal of bringing back what made a star out of John Travolta, of the craze that cemented the need for ozone free hairspray, and for the music of the Bee Gees and other greats. But now I realize it is not just the music and dance I think we need to celebrate, but more the love of life, the culture, the fun. but admittedly i do need to do a bit more research so I can know exactly what I would like to see re-embraced in present day society.
