I’m so proud of myself. I just forced myself to do a short powerwalk on the treadmill, I managed to go fast enough to shave a whole 3 minutes off my normal average for half a mile. Go me!

As soon as I learned how to knit, I went nuts. I just couldn’t stop practicing and knitting. Then I stopped dead in my tracks, and a very unfinished bag has been sitting in a drawer for a couple months now. I’m unemployed for the moment, so maybe I’ll start back up.
My original “thing” to add was going to be something like “Lose as much weight as possible in a month,” but I figure it’s much easier to simply force myself to exercise more. I need to find the right motivation for myself, which is definitely not trying to give myself a specific amount of weight to lose. I’m finally becoming happy with my weight, and actually like myself more now than when I was skinnier (I’ve gained 30 pounds in two years), but I’d still like to be able to fit into the rest of my clothes. I haven’t been able to wear my favorite miniskirt because my hips are bigger now. :P
