Up Close and Dangerous-Linda Howard
I picked this up at a bookshop in Bangkok, looking for a good pool-side read. And, as always, Ms Howard did not disappoint. A suspense/romance novel. Someone’s always out to kill the heroine.

How I did it: Being in the military, physical training is something we have to do almost every day. Sprints, three- and four-mile runs, and the occasional (if we're lucky) frisbee game all helped out.I get on either a treadmill or an elliptical daily, for about 35 minutes, and also walk a lot.My best time for one mile is actually 8:20, but I average around 9 minutes. Read how I did it…
