This seems a bit like a silly goal since I live in London and I will be living here for at least another 3 years. However, I’m not appreciating the fact I’m living in such an amazing city and instead I keep thinking I’ll have loads of time in the future to explore the city. Sooner or later I’ll run out of time so here are a list of things I will try to do before the summer:
- Visit the British Museum (considering I live like 5 minutes away from it, I should probably go see it sometime this week)
- Visit the National Gallery (and not just for the bathrooms)
- Visit the Tate Modern and Tate Britain
- Visit the Science Museum
- See the Globe theater and hopefully also a play when it gets warmer
- See the changing of the guards outside Buckingham Palace
- Go to Borough Market
- Go to Reagent’s Park
- See a musical in a West End theatre
- See a show at the Royal Albert Hall
- Go ice skating at Somerset House (next christmas)
- Go shopping in Westfield
- Go inside Madame Tussauds, Ripley’s Believe it or Not, and all those famous places that costs a lot to see

Wow the IB really feels like a life time ago. I graduated last summer with enough points to secure a place in my first choice uni. Now I’m a student living and studying in London! Good times :)
To everyone still struggling through the IB: life may suck extremely hard at the moment and it may seem like you have nothing left to live for (how I felt during the times I was revising for chemistry until 4 in the morning), but it will pass, you WILL get through it. And believe me, the feeling after finishing your final exam paper is just indescribable! I’m not gonna lie though, uni is harder and sucks even more than the IB. But in the end, the IB really was such a valuable experience and it did prepare me as much as it could have. And if I had to, I would do it all over again.
I’ll be seeing Muse again this summer at Rock Werchter. I’m super excited because the atmosphere at the festival is gonna make the show absolutely fanatastic!
