A friend of mine told me it was better for me to do cardio every day! That’s about at least 30 min per session. Wow! I did it only 3 or 4 times a week, and sometimes it inconsistently. That’s why it was going quite slow.
Another friend told me to variate my cardio workouts. Doing the same workout every time makes the body get used to it and the effects will be minimal.

A few years ago I decided to switch from Max to Maya (I was already loving 3D) and it was my best move! At first the UI of Maya was intimidating, but after a while I got the hang of it. I also did a lot of character modeling and haging out at CGI fora like www.cgtalk.com or www.3dbuzz.com learning a lot from others.
If you like to create things (like characters, cars, environments) then learn Maya, it’s fun! But don’t give up, it is HARD in the beginning and still hard if you are more advanced. But worth it! :)
Right now I want to do more learning of Maya. Currently I’m a Flash designer, but in time I want to do 3D as work! This is what I have so far… still n00b… :P

Good luck guys!
6 years ago when I was in the first year of my multimedia college, a lot of my teachers were ranting about Flash and were not convinced by it’s possibilities. They were just ignorant. Look just how far Flash has come! Flash is ubiquitous.
Learning Flash (and other aspects of design) was one of my best decisions! It has created 99% of my portfolio. :)
So just do it! But also learn ActionScript if you want to get the most out of it.
