At one point in the mid 1990’s several McDonalds in my area served as test markets for McPizzas (I don’t think they actually called them that though) So, yes I ordered a Pizza at McDonalds, but I was probably one of the few who actually received one. It wasn’t very good.

Bob Dole has served as my inspiration to get involved in politics. I had the opportunity to meet him and briefly discuss my goals and aspirations when he spoke at my college shorly after the 1996 election. He gave me the advice to start locally and get involved wherever I can. I have taken that advice to heart and am now serving in my second term on my town’s City Council, where I was the youngest councilman in the history of our town.

My Wife and I spent our honeymoon in San Pedro, Belize. It was a wonderful experience. My advice though is to avoid visiting during hurricane season. Due to Hurricane Wilma, ten days in Belize turned into three days in Belize and six days at a B&B in Macon, Missouri. At least we were able to evacuate before the storm hit, unlike the unfortunate folks up in Cancun and Cozumel.

We can’t wait to go back… we will just pick a better time of year.
