It was good to have a break! However, by the end of said break, I was getting anxious and feeling bored.. So school rolled around right in time to keep me occupied. But it was excellent to not have to worry about anything (well, except house, and work, and cats, and life) for a while..
I started going to my local co-op every week instead of meijers for groceries, and it’s become habit now. Plus, they give students a discount, so I’m hooked! I feel healthier already :) I want to do a detox to cleanse my body of all the crap of eaten in the past..
I started baking all organic, too (mm, with the sole exception of ghiradelli semi sweet chocolate chips…), and I’ve been gradually switching over to making all my bath products. I still use some off the shelf stuff, like shampoo, but that’s just because I have to go through my pantry first, and then switch to homemade stuff. I made facial lotion last week & it is divine… :)
