I did my first rug with mostly yarn, which is much slower than using fabric strips! However, I started the second rug (all wool strips) before I got pregnant with my son who is 7 months old now.
I stalled out on ideas for it and then got another chunk done a couple of months ago. Now it is just a matter of biting the bullet and just doing it! I already have an idea for the next one, but have vowed not to start it until this one is finished (it will be made of strips of old cotton tee-shirt material all soft and absorbent for the bathroom! Whee!

This (whatever it is) is a small price to pay for … (being married to a really great guy? Living where I want to?
Well, if this is the worst thing that happens to me today… this week… this year… then things aren’t so bad. Right?

Well, I was required to have a syllabus to show to the special program I’m involved with, so I had to get it done last week! Hurrah! It turns out that I LOVE the new text book for 101 (They Say, I Say.. or is it the other way around?) and I managed to integrate the whole thing into the semester.
I still want to make a teaching plan for the semester and get all my hand-outs ready. But, this is ready-er than I’ve ever been before.
