Learn Dvorak (read all 2 entries…)
So I'm giving up. 2 years ago

I’m not giving up because the typing is hard; I’m giving up because configuring my computer is hard. If I set Dvorak to be the default keyboard configuration, then most of my games start in Dvorak mode (making WASD controls unusable), and for some reason pushing ctrl-shift while the game is running doesn’t switch back to Qwerty. If I set Qwerty to be the default language, then even after manually selecting Dvorak from the toolbar, programs such as Firefox open up in Qwerty mode.

I’m fine with 49.2 words per minute using Qwerty. Qwerty has served me well thus far and it will continue to serve me well in the future.

Day one of my Dvorak adventure! 2 years ago

I just took an online typing test. I averaged 49.2 words per minute using Qwerty. Not spectacular, I know, but I’m just using that as a point of reference. I will say that I have learned Dvorak when I can type 49.2 words per minute using Dvorak. Now to download the layout…

Beat Metroid Prime
Great game! 2 years ago

This is probably my favorite single-player game on GameCube, and one of my favorite single-player games on any system.
