Hogshine

I normally listen to metal like Dream Theater or Rush, also some far lighter things from Bon Jovi to Savage Garden, and most things in between! However, I’m determined to learn how to write good, meaningful lyrics, so am going to attempt to teach myself to do this!

I’m starting off by listening to as much Tool and NIN as I can and really listening and thinking about the lyrics, why they use those words, what images it creates in my head etc. (More Tool than NIN, to be honest :P)

I have an awesome band back at home, but hopefully I’ll be starting up a new band at university next term. I’m into metal/rock mostly, and have found a similar-minded guitarist, so we’re just looking for others now! Hopefully we’ll get something together… :D

I want to be able to quote the entire of The Lion King, on demand, with no mistakes. At the moment I can talk along with the movie pretty well (or could last time I watched it). I watch it with my family quite a lot, and we all just sing along. It’s really fun!!
