I went to the local pound and rescued a 6ish month old black lab puppy. He is my new best friend, and its always great to come home and see someone so excited to see me back.

Plus, we have so many great adventures together. Its always great to have that companionship.

I have been watching this show on TV since its first debut, and have been hooked on it the entire time. The last season did get to be a bit predictable, but they still managed to make it exciting and suprising. I am anxious to see the new season, and encourage everyone to watch!

So far Marloe (thats the dogs name, actually derived from wine. we decided merlot was to fiminine, so i changed it to Marloe :) ) is able to sit, shake, lay down, and stay. But I dont think he recognizes the words yet, just kind of tries to guess what I want him to do… But we are working on that.

He is really good at staying until I tell him “OK”, especially at dinner time. I make him sit in front of his food and wait until I give him the go-ahead to eat hehe. He usually starts drooling really bad, its pretty funny.

Up next I am trying to work on rolling over, and balancing a treat on his nose. I would like to teach him to speak, but I dont know where to start on that one… Plus, he is pretty quiet and I dont know if I want to mess that up…
