move to Omaha

I guess we really are gonna do this. I bought a house. Omaha has a terrific selection of lovely houses at good prices (compared to most of the rest of the US)

My house buying trip was the first time I’ve ever been to Omaha. It was pretty, but smaller than I expected. Certainly it will be nice to be able to get around with less traffic hassles.

Learn to stain concrete

I want to learn to stain concrete so I can improve the look of my back patio and driveway. I read a bit about it on beJane and it looks time consuming but worth it.

Maybe this will be the first DIY project in my new house!!

Like a garden shed or a detached garage. I’d like it to be multipurpose, so I guess I’ll need to design it or at least adapt someone else’s plans.
