People weave in and out of your life, sometimes people leave your life because the price is too high to stay connected to the other parts that you remain connected to, have I lost you yet? Case in point…I adore my oldest sibling, he speaks a language that pierces my soul and causes sheer understanding in my heart…I do not have access to him. I don’t think it was anything I did deliberately, more so that he needed to be free of the possible fringes of the lives that he did not want woven into his world. At least this is what I hope.
I sure could have used his voice in my ear as his god daughter became a single mother this year to a precious child, Genevieve. And the death of my biological father, that was not so much tragic as it was…a marker.
I miss him, oh how I miss him. Case in point concluded.
