How I did it: I set up a savings account that automatically deducted money from my checking. I cancelled credit cards (after paying them off) and I started to think of ways to save money: Shop at sales, less eating out, buying less junk that I think I need, but don't...I am also pondering saving even more and cancelling cable tv altogether...Not there yet.
