How I did it: I collected all the bills etc. that I'd been keeping in an organizer (but wasn't really organized lol), cleared out the stuff in the file cabinet; sorted through piles of stuff and shredded what we were not going to keep. Next I decided what to label each file folder and put up to date items into each folder. Now after I pay a bill, or receive an important document I have an organized place to place everything. The filing system is useful… Read how I did it…
My husband has incredible levels of patience. This is one of his qualities I admire most; I am observing him & learning how to take my time better with things. This shall be a continuous thing for me but I am determined to learn patience!
Our habit of eating out regularly (@least twice a week) was draining to our financial stability. I decided to limit our spending to $100 a month and we’ve done fantastic for three months now. I write down how much we spend each time we eat out, keeping a calculated total that I then write onto our calender. Not included in the budgeted money is special occasions ie: birthdays and anniversaries.
