Time to get back to work on this one. I’ve neglected it for too long. Third time lucky with the driving test? If I keep taking it I will pass it eventually. Law of averages. I’ve taken so many lessons now that I’m already a better driver than most people I know. I just keep getting failed on tiny insignificant little errors. Last time was waiting too long before cancelling an indicator when pulling away from a start after an emergency stop. But I’m convinced the instructor had it in for me from the moment he got in the car.

I’m going on holiday and one of the things on the agenda is snorkeling! Good job I spent some time learning how to tread water and getting used to the deep end during the last visits to the pool. Still there’s a big difference between that and being dropped off the side of a boat way off shore. This is going to take me out of my comfort zone. But it’s going to be an adventure and hopefully fun. Being able to enjoy holidays more was one of the big reasons I got into this in the first place and assuming I survive I’m going to call this goal completed. :)
New city, new job, new home, new girl, new friends, new interests, new life. People warned me not to run away but that’s what I did. For a year I poured all my spare time into changing my life. Now I have everything I wanted and I say without hesidation that I did the right thing. You get one shot at this life. If you’re not happy with how things are, change them. Don’t let others scare you into tolerating the status quo.
