Time to clean up my goals and throw this one off. There are some stories I’m never going to finish, so I’ll never be able to pull this off. Instead of focusing on something vague, I’ll fix myself some clear goals. Doing NaNoWriMo, for example, or finishing a novel.

How I did it: I've attempted NaNoWriMo a few times, and never won. In 2009, I finally managed to pull it off. For the first time, I had more than a vague idea of the storyline. This helped immensely, and I think it's what made the difference. I had started planning a month before, and by the time November arrived, I was eager to start writing. The first days went well. The middle of the month was very bad. My motivation went up again when I came close … Read how I did it…
Things change… I still want to go to Sweden, I just don’t see how I can live there for a year. My priorities have shifted during the past years, and so has the country where I want to live.
This is my huge project for 2011. I’ve already got an idea of where I want to go. All I need now is to wait for the flights to come out, so I can continue planning. Then there’s the question of whether I’ll go alone or with a friend, which I’ll have to answer this year. No matter how it turns out, I’m really looking forward to it!
