How I did it: I'd been to Scotland a couple of times, and I'm sorry to say- it bores the hell out of me. My ex was from there, so that's why we went so many times. But I'm free from that fool now, so I don't have to worry about that again. The only time I had any fun at all is seeing Skara Brae on the Orkney Islands. I'm really into archaeology and anthropology (another life dream- finish my degree in that area). The site is 1,000 years older than the … Read how I did it…
How I did it: Self analysis- finding out how I feel, giving myself to permission to feel and especially grieve (from various traumatic experiences). This came from writing in my journal every day for about five years now- it's the best way for me. Yoga has released a lot of pent up emotions also. Realizing that I've had dysfunctional relationships due to these traumas. Making a commitment to myself to heal, and to protect myself at any cost from damagi… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Just finally went to the Jazz Fest here in Montreal. I hadn't been exploring the city and all the cool (very very cool) things it had to offer. Most of the performances are free- 350 in fact! I got to see Stevie Wonder for free!! It was sooo awesome!! Read how I did it…

I’ve sent in my application to go back to college to finish this goal. It’s number one on my list until I’m done! I’ve even completed my student plan, picking all the classes for the next two years, with the plan to transfer to an Ivy League after.
Very very very excited!! I’ve been wanting to do this for thirteen years now.
I got my first selection: Tender is the Night by F. Scott Fitzgerald. I thought I’d start with that since I enjoyed The Great Gatsby so much. So far, it is just beautifully written. I can’t wait to finish it! And of course, to really delve into the others. I almost started with Ulysses by James Joyce, since I once met the screenwriter who adapted it to an Academy award winning film in the 1960’s. But considering the amount of vocab in that one, I might just get a notebook just to write in (and learn) all the words I don’t know. That should be a major education in and of itself! I figured if I read one book a month, it would take me about 8 years (+ 2 months)... but I am a very fast reader, so likely will be much quicker. I hope. Either way, I’m going to enjoy every second of it. :)
