How to learn to drive a stick shift

How I did it: I live in the Netherlands and if you want to get your driver's license here, you need to learn. And it takes a lot of lessons. So far, it's taken me 40 lessons, about 45 hours. 8 months. Next week, I can finally do my driver's exam. I hope I'll pass.Virtually all cars here are stick shifts, so most people learn to drive one automatically. It's not hard. Read how I did it…
