My fear is that I will grow old and think of only bad memories.
I do not want that, so
i’m living life to the fullest.
Call it the “withdrawal” symptom.
Addicts go through it. But you have a better chance. Tell yourself that they are ghosts. They are simply returning to haunt the bejeebus out of you and it’s not going to fly.
This is the stage where you will doubt yourself.
Don’t trust your heart.
Trust the part of you that questions everything about them.
If they love me, then why did they leave?
If they were committed, then why are there inconsistencys?
If they don’t like me, why don’t they tell me?
Tell yourself that conflict is at hand already and therefore
there is no chance in hell it will ever work out.
