My friend passed away last week and I didn’t get to go to the funeral. I’ll never have a chance to visit his grave or say goodbye the way I feel I should. I’d love to find a way to say my goodbyes to him without standing at his grave. I feel so guilty for not going to the funeral even though I know he would have understood why I couldn’t.

It’s been almost 3 weeks since I smoked my last cigarette. Quitting is one of the best things I’ve ever done. I feel better, I have more money and I don’t have to stand around outside in the rain just to feed my habit.
Music is the one constant thing in my life. When people, jobs and other things come and go, I still have my music to keep me relatively sane. There are very few moments in my day when I’m not playing something. It’s my therapy and my passion. It’s the one thing I have when there’s nobody to talk to and I feel like I’m alone and misunderstood. There’s always a song in my collection to fit what I’m feeling no matter what mood I’m in at the time. I’ve been a music junkie since early childhood and I don’t think I’d have it any other way.
